The State Police today discovered illegal tools and items that were allegedly used by criminal groups in Shkodër, while a young man was arrested.

Official sources from the police informed that the citizen with the initials RG, 26 years old, a resident of Shkodër, was behind bars.

"Masks, wigs, bulletproof vests and metal skullcaps like those of the Police, shotguns, military ammunition and other items suspected to be used by criminal groups to commit crimes against persons and property are discovered and seized.

1 jar and 13 packages filled with suspected cannabis narcotics were also seized, as well as another amount of this substance, divided into doses, ready for sale near schools, bars and in different areas of the city of Shkodra.

The discovery, based on police intelligence and the implementation of the measures defined in the operational plans "Temple" and "Rule of Law". The 26-year-old man who possessed illegal items and narcotics in the apartment was arrested in the act.

Following successive strikes within the police mega-operations "Tempulli" and "Rule of Law", based on police intelligence, the specialists of the Narcotics Investigation Section of the Shkodër Local Police Directorate, in cooperation with the specialists of the Crime Investigation Section of the Shkodër Police Station, have hit another case of supplying persons or criminal groups with tools to commit crimes against the person and property, as well as a case of distributing narcotics near schools.

In the "Partizani" neighborhood, the Police services, as part of the police operation coded "False Image", intervened in the apartment of 26-year-old RG, where they found and seized 7 bulletproof vests, 2 pairs of gloves, 3 masks, 2 wigs , military ammunition, 1 metal shell, 1 shotgun and other illegal items, as well as quantities of suspected narcotic substance cannabis.

At the end of the first investigative and procedural actions, citizen RG, 26 years old, resident of Shkodër, was arrested in the act. The investigative structures of DVP Shkodër, in cooperation with the Prosecutor's Office, continue the in-depth investigations for the complete clarification of this case, the capture and imprisonment of the other citizens involved.

The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of the General Jurisdiction Shkodër, for further actions, for the criminal offenses "Production and sale of narcotics", "Production and possession without permission of military weapons and ammunition" and "Production and possession without a permit for hunting and sporting weapons", the police announcement states. /Telegraph/
